Vocal 
Amy Gledhill Branch, certified Vocal Coach. "The Branchettes" and "Man Enough".
Amy is a lifetime performer, performing for over 35 years, not only in music, but in dance as well.
She moved to Nephi from the St.George area where she was a school teacher for 6 years and a Vocal Coach from 2004 on.  Amy performed opening numbers and mini concerts at Tuachaun Amphitheatre, both as a soloist and with her performing group. She also did radio commercials for "Sunny FM" radio in St. George, and received offers 3 times to perform professionally.
Amy provides group voice lessons and private voice lessons, starting at $6.00 for group and $7.00 for private, for 30-minute lessons.  She also offers family discounts and 1-hour lessons if desired.  (For family discounts and hour lesson prices, please call.)  All group lessons are also choreographed by Amy.  
Amy takes all ages, girls and boys, 3 and up.  There is no upper age limit.  If you are looking for someone who will get your child out of his or her shell, Amy is for you.  Besides vocal skills, your child will also be learning stage presence, technique, and choreography.  
Amy loves to do performances.  Her passion is singing, and her desire is that every person she teaches learn to love music as much as she does!

It's A Sing Thing - Private and Group Vocal lessons taught by Lori and Kristin Christensen.  Over 60 years of combined performing experience.  Lori was the choir director at NSHS for 5 years and has taught private and group vocal lessons for several years.  Kristin attended WWCC where she studied musical theater.  Kristin has been performing and singing since she was 3 years old.  This is a group that will not only be singing but performing.  If your kids like GLEE this is for them!  Fun upbeat musical numbers with proper technique taught, so it is not only fun but a learning experience.  Age groups will depend upon sign-ups. My studio is located in my home at 943 South 50 West in Mona. Tuition is $25 per month for a 45-minute weekly group lesson, or $12 per 30 minute private lesson. I offer a discount for additional family members.

Theater

Community Theater- All ages are welcome to participate in this newly-formed community theater group.  Rehearsals are typically held on Thursday evenings from 5:00 to 7:00pm in the Fine Arts Auditorium.  Watch this website for audition information (listed on the front page), dates, and show times.  If you're interested in getting involved in everything from acting to costumes to technical production, contact Rock White at rock.white@nebo.edu


 

Dance 
Nebo Dance Academy offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, and cheer.  There are also competition team and private choreography available. Regular classes begin in September. 
 
Nebo Dance Academy is directed by Nikkii Sperry.  She has a Bachelor's Degree in dance and health education.  She also earned her Secondary Education Teaching Certificate from the State of Utah.  
 
Nikkii has performed with and choreographed for many drill teams and dance companies in Utah, including Snow College and Southern Utah University.  Her choreography was selected to be performed in concert at SUU.  Nikkii has taught all age levels in both private and public school settings.  She loves to pass her passion for dance and her knowledge on to the youth.

Violin

Joye Cannell's String Studio -  I teach private string lessons in my home located at 359 East 1450 North in Nephi. 

 

I charge a monthly fee of $40.00 for half hour lessons and $48.00 for hour lessons.

Literature
Friends of the Library - Story time, sponsored by Friends of the Library, takes place every Tuesday at 10:00am in the Nephi Public Library.  Pre-school age children from 3 to 5 years are invited to hear fabulous stories and create fun crafts.
